Election 2025 -- Our Voices Matter!

Election campaigns provide a unique opportunity to be heard and to make a real impact. The candidates who are campaigning to become our MPs want to know what we care about. You will have opportunities at local all-candidates forums and when candidates or their volunteers come to your door or call you. You can also pay a visit yourself to your candidates' offices and drop off the election handout on international assistance that you'll find in the Resources box below.

We can influence the priorities of future MPs and of political parties in Canada by sharing our concerns about the global child hunger and malnutrition crisis and communicating our support for international assistance. Let’s be clear with the message that Canadian aid matters and is a vital investment to build a healthier, more equitable, and more secure world.

We have assembled resources to help you prepare for conversations with your candidates.  You will find them in the box below.

If you talk to a candidate, or several, we’d love to hear how it goes. Where do they stand on the issues you raise? We invite you to email us at info@grandmothersadvocacy.org and let us know what the candidates in your riding are saying.

Your voice matters!
