WASH: We are calling on world leaders to fund clean water in every health centre, worldwide. Join the global movement demanding world leaders take concrete actions to deliver clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for every woman, every birth. Sign WaterAid’s Time to Deliver petition. The goal is 100,000 signatures before the UN Water Conference in December. Sign and share this with others. Continue to do what you can to get the word out about the Time to Deliver Campaign and encourage signatures on the petition. A toolkit is available here. Water Security: Between September 9 and October 25, the Government of Canada is inviting Canadians to share our views to inform the development of Canada’s first National Water Security Strategy. You can make your opinion heard by completing the online questionnaire, Strengthening Water Security in Canada Together.
Climate: Plan to participate in the Seniors for Climate week of action, October 12 -18. Click the October Week of Action link for more information, to find an event near you, or to host an event. Events are being added to the map as they are organized so check back frequently.
Climate: Sign e-petition e-7559 sponsored by Liberal MP Karina Gould, calling on the government to triple Canada’s investment in renewable and clean energy and to honour and ensure Canada’s 2030 and 2035 emissions targets. (Petition closes November 10, 2026.)
