As Canadian children head back to school this September, 222 million crisis-impacted children
in the world will not. I am writing to encourage you to attend the Heads of State portion of the
UNGA “Transforming Education” Summit on September 19th, 2022. I also urge you to
demonstrate leadership for education, as you did at the G7 Charlevoix meetings in 2019, and
challenge global leaders to bring quality education to all of the world’s children.
