For those who were unable to attend the live service celebrating Stephen’s life and legacy, a recording is available. It is filled with heartfelt tributes to a truly remarkable man, highlighting his lifelong commitment to justice, solidarity, and gender equality, and also his love for Africa and African grandmothers. For so many Canadian grandmothers and grandothers, Stephen is the one who inspired our own advocacy work today. May we carry his light with us into our work for social justice.
