Thursday, January 22 — 12:00 p.m. ET — Join the Group of 78 and the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) for a stimulating conversation with guest speaker Robb Barnes, Climate Program Director of CAPE and a recent delegate at COP30 in Brazil, to explore issues around climate and health in the international context. This talk will look at the many intersections between health and climate change, with an emphasis on air pollution and the many impacts of climate change on human health. As part of his presentation, Robb will review the state of play of international climate negotiations, with a special focus on Canada’s role at COP30 and beyond.
