National Hilltop Campaign

“From Our Hill to Parliament Hill”

Coast-to-coast demonstration of support for Bill C-398 to amend Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime (CAMR)

Who we are:   The Grandmothers Advocacy Network (GRAN) is composed of volunteer grandmothers and grand-others from across Canada.  We act as a Canadian voice for Africa’s sub-Saharan grandmothers who are caring for millions of AIDS-orphaned children. We work for changes in Canadian policies to improve their quality of life.

Our commitment:  GRAN supports passage of Bill C-398 which is being considered by parliament this fall.  This bill will amend  Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime (CAMR) to make it much easier to ship life-saving affordable generic medicines to African and other developing countries.

Our purpose: GRAN and supporters urge all Members of Parliament to support this humanitarian legislation.
